Davie Blair worked as a firefighter for 34 years and supported the Charity throughout, so when he suffered a stroke, he turned to us for support with not only his physical health, but also his mental wellbeing. Tina, whose husband was in Scottish FRS for 30 years before his retirement, reveals how her son Greg has been helped by the Charity following a brain tumour and subsequent stroke. Retired firefighter Lee Fisher and his wife Lynne visited Jubilee House for separate injuries. They say having supported the Charity for years, they were able to get the help they both needed when they needed it most. Steve Flint, who works for Staffordshire FRS, has been supported by the Charity - both digitally and face-to-face - ever since being involved in a near-fatal motorcycle accident last year. Lisa Gregory was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease last year, restricting movement in her hands. However, she says our digital art therapy classes helped her discover a whole new life passion.
