Naomi Parton-Smith is running the 2022 London Marathon for us as a thank you for the mental health support we’ve offered her partner, Jeff. Thanks to your donations, we were able to help him find the tools he needed to aid his recovery. Kaisha Robertson, whose father is a retired firefighter, is living with long-term health conditions which impact her movement and has been supported by our Physiotherapy and Welfare teams. On-call firefighter Melanie Davis attended our Covid Recovery Programme last year after struggling with the long-term impacts of Covid-19. She says it provided the help she’d been craving for months. Firefighter Anton Awramenko and his family were supported by our Welfare Team after he revealed their struggle to include their youngest son, who has learning disabilities, in family activities. Lisa Watson visited Jubilee House after arthritis in her knees suddenly flared up and meant she had to drop out of operational work. Now she’s found the tools she needs to slowly build her fitness up again.
