Alex Abrams, 23, is taking on two and a half marathons this year in memory of her dad, who died suddenly at work in November 2022. Here she shares why supporting our charity meant so much to him – and now to her as well… When Nikki Haxton-Jones’ husband, Danny, passed away, she vowed to raise money for us in his memory – and she and her two kids, as well as Danny’s colleagues, have continued ever since. Thanks to your generous donations over the years, we’ve been able to support Billy with his mental health via both remote counselling sessions and also on our Reset Programme – which he says “changed his life”. Naomi Parton-Smith is running the 2022 London Marathon for us as a thank you for the mental health support we’ve offered her partner, Jeff. Thanks to your donations, we were able to help him find the tools he needed to aid his recovery. Hampshire and Isle of Wight firefighters Jason Haste and Sean Ratcliffe took on 20 peaks in 20 days in aid of us – but a medical emergency midway through led to them also calling on our support.
