Firefighter Matt Pendlebury helped us secure a valuable national partnership with leading forecourt retailer EG Group, after first approaching them for a donation towards his London Marathon fundraising drive. Craig Sadler has supported the Charity for years and now, as his son joins the service and begins working in the same station as him, he too hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps. We’ve supported Phil Maynard for years – firstly with his mental health and more recently following a hip replacement. Now he’s going above and beyond to show his appreciation. Jamie Shortland, a firefighter with Norfolk FRS, reached out for mental health support following a devastating accident. Now he’s taken on a huge challenge to say thank you. Tina, whose husband was in Scottish FRS for 30 years before his retirement, reveals how her son Greg has been helped by the Charity following a brain tumour and subsequent stroke.
