Following almost three decades of running its internal lottery, South Yorkshire FRS has made another incredible donation to us from its kind-hearted employees. A team of 10 firefighters are set to run the Ilkley Half Marathon - with some of them taking part in full fire kit and BA. A team of volunteers have been working hard to deliver an internal lottery for the service since 1996 – and their latest donation to us is an incredible £20,300. Richard and Justina Sexton marked their 80th birthdays this year, the same year as our own, with a garden party in aid of us – as a thank you for the support their received from their local fire crews.
