Family’s £100K fundraising legacy
The Wannell family have been supporting us since the 1970s with their vintage turntable ladder fire appliance – having experienced our support first-hand, through the generations.
The Wannell family have been supporting us since the 1970s with their vintage turntable ladder fire appliance – having experienced our support first-hand, through the generations. Avon Fire and Rescue Service invited staff and their families and friends to come together for a fun-filled day in support of us. Heather Kent, 15, has no direct connection to the fire service but spent six weeks picking litter in return for donations, as a thank you to fire service personnel she says are the “spirit of their community”. By regularly donating to us, you are directly supporting people like Anton and his son with welfare support when they need it most. Firefighters from across the world pushed themselves to the limit with a series of endurance challenges at the annual event, in aid of the Charity.
