A group of firefighters from a men's mental health walking group walked 100km to raise awareness of motor neurone disease and the support we offer. Leading theatre company ATG’s 10 historic West End theatres in London will collect donations for us from December 2022, as their Charity of Choice. When Karen Bell received support at one of our centres following a lawnmower accident - which left her with major injuries to her hand - she didn’t realise how much it would benefit her mental health too. Jade Konkel-Roberts, who is hoping to play in the Women’s Rugby World Cup later this year, joined the fire service in 2021 and she’s been donating to us ever since. LFB and The London Ambulance Service are going head to head in a football match in support of the Charity, to honour firefighters that went above and beyond in the pandemic.
